“CYBERGIRLS ALUMNI, ESTHER, TOCHUKWU AND EMELDA, JOIN DIGITAL ENCODE AS INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYSTS.”
One woman breaking into cybersecurity at a time, we’re closing the gender gap and tipping the scale… However, regardless of their educational background, we occasionally do multiples.
Esther majored in human anatomy at university.
Emelda attended university and majored in Physiology.
Tochukwu has a Bachelor of Marketing degree.
What do these ladies have in common?
1. They did not all study computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. They are all graduates of the CyberGirls fellowship, which matched their passion for cybersecurity with free training and mentorship.
3. They made the switch to cybersecurity in less than a year.
The fourth thing they all have in common is that they were all hired by Digital Encode Limited a company that believes in our ability to produce high-potential cybersecurity professionals. This is the second time Digital Encode has hired from CyberSafe Foundation, and it is always 3 or more at a time. Huge thanks to the visionary founders, Dr.(h.c.) Obadare Peter Adewale COBIT®5 Assessor, PCI QSA and his business partner, who understand the value of diversity and providing a nurturing environment for new cybersecurity entrants.
Ladies, congratulations! Esther Adesegun Emelda Ugwoke Tochukwu Obillor
